LaunchLab guide
Four things by Monday. Distribution is the work: you get your landing page in front of the right people. None of it needs code.
- A live landing page
- One page, one promise, one button.
- 5 experiments
- Each in a different channel, toward one weekend goal.
- One result
- Sign-ups, replies or pre-orders.
- One public post
- On your own account, with your landing page link.
The words we use
Each word, in plain words.
- Landing page
- The one page with a headline, a button and a form.
- Value proposition
- Who it is for, and what changes for them. Example:
For new runners, so they finish their first 5 km.
- Channel
- Where you share: a subreddit, a Discord server, a WhatsApp group, Instagram, a school board.
- Experiment
- One post or one message in one channel, with its own tracking link. You count the result the next day.
- Weekend goal
- One number for the whole weekend. Write it on Day 1 and post it in Discord. Example:
My goal: 20 sign-ups by Monday.
- Tracking link (Dub)
- A short link that counts the clicks from one channel. Make one per channel.
- Result
- What came back: sign-ups, replies or pre-orders.
